The short version

The Qualified Tips app is 100% offline. Your tips, shifts, and notes live on your device — we never receive them, store them, or sell them. The only thing we ever collect is an email address, and only if you personally hand it to us.

The app collects no tip data

Everything you log in Qualified Tips — your shifts, tip amounts, jobs, and qualified-vs-non-qualified breakdown — is stored locally on your phone. It is not transmitted to us or to anyone else. There is no account to create, no login, and no cloud sync. If you delete the app, that data is gone with it, so back it up before you do.

What the website collects

If you submit your email through a form on qualifiedtips.app — for launch updates or to save a calculator estimate — we store that email so we can contact you. The savings calculator runs entirely in your browser; the numbers you type are not sent to us unless you choose to submit the email form. We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand traffic, but we do not build advertising profiles and we run no third-party ad trackers.

How we use your email

We use it to send you what you asked for: a heads-up when Qualified Tips launches, and occasional product news. That's it. We don't sell or rent your email. When the mailing list is live it will run through a reputable email provider, and every message will include a one-click unsubscribe. Opt out any time and we'll remove you.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from emails whenever you like. You can ask us to delete the email address we hold for you by writing to hello@qualifiedtips.app. Because the app stores nothing on our side, there is no app data for us to export or delete — it's all in your hands, on your device.

Children

Qualified Tips is intended for working adults and is not directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and move the "last updated" date. Material changes that affect the mailing list will be communicated by email.
